Getting Started

Q: How do I create a new habit?

A: Tap the green “+” button at the bottom of the screen, then select “Add” to create a custom habit, or choose “Templates” to pick from our pre-made habit suggestions.

Q: Can I customize my habits?

A: Yes! Each habit can be customized with a name, category, color, and reminder time. You can edit any habit by tapping on it in the habit list.

Q: How many habits can I track?

A: The free version allows you to track up to 5 habits. Upgrade to Habit365 Premium for unlimited habit tracking.


Tracking & Progress

Q: How do I mark a habit as complete?

A: Simply tap on the cell corresponding to the habit and date in the grid view. A checkmark will appear to indicate completion.

Q: Can I mark habits for past dates?

A: Yes, you can tap on any past date in the grid to mark habits as complete or incomplete. This is helpful if you forgot to log a habit.

Q: What is a streak?

A: A streak represents the number of consecutive days you’ve completed all your habits. Maintaining streaks is a great way to stay motivated and build consistency.

Q: How is my completion rate calculated?

A: Your completion rate shows the percentage of habits you’ve completed compared to your total habits for the selected time period (daily, weekly, or monthly).

Q: What’s included in Habit365 Premium?

A: Habit365 Premium includes:

Q: How do I upgrade to Premium?

A: Tap on the settings icon, then select “Upgrade to Premium” to view subscription options and complete your purchase.

Q: How do I restore my Premium purchase?

A: Go to Settings and tap “Restore Purchases.” Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

A: Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device to manage or cancel your Habit365 subscription.


Data & Privacy

Q: Is my data backed up?

A: If you enable iCloud sync in settings, your data is automatically backed up and synchronized across all your Apple devices. You can also manually export your data from the Data Management settings.

Q: How do I export my data?

A: Go to Settings > Data Management > Export Data. Your habit data will be saved as a file that you can share or store.

Q: How do I delete all my data?

A: Go to Settings > Data Management > Reset All Data. Please note this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Q: Is my data private?

A: Yes, your privacy is our priority. All data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your habit data and never share your information with third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for more details.


Notifications & Reminders

Q: How do I set up reminders?

A: Go to Settings > Reminders to configure your daily reminder time. You can also set individual reminder times for each habit when creating or editing them.

Q: Why am I not receiving notifications?

A: Please check the following:

  1. Notifications are enabled for Habit365 in your device Settings > Notifications
  2. Reminders are enabled within the Habit365 app settings
  3. Do Not Disturb or Focus mode is not blocking notifications
  4. Your device is not in Low Power Mode (which can delay notifications)

Q: Can I set multiple reminders per day?

A: Yes! Habit365 supports multiple reminder times including morning, afternoon, and evening reminders. Configure these in Settings > Reminders.


Syncing & Multiple Devices

Q: How do I sync my data across devices?

A: Enable iCloud sync in Settings > Data Management. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID on all devices and that iCloud is enabled for Habit365.

Q: My data isn’t syncing between devices. What should I do?

A: Try these steps:

  1. Ensure iCloud sync is enabled on all devices
  2. Check that you’re signed in with the same Apple ID
  3. Verify you have an active internet connection
  4. Go to Settings > Data Management and tap “Force Sync”
  5. Wait a few minutes for changes to propagate

Apple Watch

Q: What can I do on the Apple Watch app?

A: The Habit365 Apple Watch app lets you view your habits, mark them complete, and check your daily progress and streak—all from your wrist.

Q: How do I sync data with my Apple Watch?

A: Data syncs automatically when both your iPhone and Apple Watch are connected. Make sure the Habit365 app is installed on your Apple Watch through the Watch app on your iPhone.


Widgets

Q: How do I add a Habit365 widget to my Home Screen?

A: Long-press on your Home Screen, tap the “+” button in the top corner, search for “Habit365,” and choose your preferred widget size.

Q: What widgets are available?

A: Habit365 offers two widget types:

  • Daily Progress Widget – Shows your completion percentage for today
  • Streak Widget – Displays your current streak count

Troubleshooting

Q: The app is crashing. What should I do?

A: Try these steps:

  1. Force close the app and reopen it
  2. Restart your device
  3. Make sure you have the latest version of Habit365 from the App Store
